  • hard parker e30 build

wanted to do a e30 for a while now so decided to pick one up 1989 325i

so this is the car got it for 1200....transmission has morning sickness which is part of the reason why I got it so cheap. But body and interior are in great shape and its a plastic bumper car which is what I wanted. So not a whole lot of progress just been driving it while I sourced parts so now the fun begins......

Just picked up a 1989 325is that a kid drifted into a 2 ft curb...so his bad luck is my good fortune....car has a rebuilt m20 with 60k on it and a brand new 5 speed and clutch with 10k on them......so gonna swap over motor and tranny here very shortly. The car also has bilstein sports and IE stage 3 springs which Im planning on selling since I have a set of air lift universals and air house 2's already waiting for the car. The car also has a full header back stainless 2.5" exhaust that is going to make its way onto my car.

Oh and I just picked these up for the build as well........

bbs rs 001 these are 3" lips gonna run those in the back and 2' up front so final setup will be 15x8 et 12 and 15x9 et 0

I would be taking those chrome arches off and binning them, they're rust traps.

its a California car but thats what Im afraid of which is why they havent come off yet.....they look to be factory as they are rivited on....Im not ready to get going on the body quite yet so since paint is prob a year or so out Im not in a big hurry to remove them for fear of having to get started on body work faster than anticipated

little bit of a facelift new oem elipsoids and french highs, euro grills and black kidneys

                  removed the chrome fender flares

finished up the front air struts for the car.......universal air lifts mated to the factory spindles....just gotta get some paint to clean up the welds and they are ready to go in the car

a closer up pick as you can see seamless welding cant tell where the old housing starts and the new one begins

finished up one of the wheels for test fit

simple panel for air install in trunk of car.......was a budget build to begin with very simple install 3 gallon tank, 380 chrome viair, 2 paddle valves, single viair dual needle gauge......nothing fancy want it to blend seamlessly into the interior of the car
