YES.
After driving my buddy's heavily modded, swapped and stretched one, I want one so bad. I don't need more things to waste money on tho. haha
Put one of those Prime's on the rear! lol
just out of curiosity, why did you buy new if you were going to swap/build it? seems like you could have saved 10-1200 or so by buying used.
It'd be awesome to have to ride to class and around campus. My issue is my commute to work is about 25ish minutes down main roads with a lot of assholes who don't appreciate an attractive man on a small slow scooter. Hicks...
And honestly, I just really wanted a new one. Plus it's the last year the Ruckus will be produced so I thought it'd be kind of cool to have a last run.
Are you planning on using a kit for the gy6 swap? I thought a bunch of stuff was needed on top of the engine - Share the knowledge so we can all get reckless with ruckuses and chaps

kinda like this guy:
You need motor mounts, fuel pump, rear wheel, wiring harness... Stuff like that. I picked up a mikuni fuel pump and I'll be making my own harness. Instead of running a stock gy6 rear wheel I went with the Max hub so I could run a fatty setup. Also I ordered the Composimo "stance" mount which is made to work with a 7" wide wheel. I'll get a little more in depth as I start swapping all the parts on so you can get a better idea of what all is needed.
I will have a picture like that now. Prepare yourselves.
it's a yamaha vino classic, i used to live by the beach and work at a motorcycle dealer, i built it years ago and it has seen the other side of 80mph a few times. now it mostly just sits in the garage. i rolled it out just to take a pic, which is like the first time it's moved in almost a year.
