I would just buy some jegs or summit steelies in 16x8 or 16x10 for this truck, kinda like beluga's setup. That or stay on craigslist, rednecks are always selling mud rims. As for the thread, I know what it's like being young and building a truck on a budget. The small shit you do, you tell your homies. The bigger updates are for forums. Build your truck the way you want, but remember as soon as it hits the internet you gotta accept criticism. $.02
you got a good point, because i was thinking i would run the mesh wheel in the summer but some wide ass steelies would make an awesome winter wheel. and the wheels are a lil small but they will work out once i lower it more

But essentially the truck looks an inch lower without
Losing any clearance. 400 bucks for him to do it doesn't seem to to bad providing he does quality work. Better spent on that then lowering it on springs and losing more
        Clearance.

        • crazy amount of work for a bodydrop. I wouldn't even look into it unless i was building a show truck on air.

          • Ya, I understand the amount of work that goes into a body drop I just know that my under carriage is already about to bottom out and I have to bring my truck down a lot to rid of my wheel gap and a body drop would be the perfect solution but at even $400 an inch I'd have to sell the whole truck just be able to afford it

            • Bigger wheel/tire diameters are going to get rid of the wheel gap man. And I would definitely bag before body drop.
The only thing lower than my standards is my truck.

              Build thread!!!

                    • $400/inch doesn't even make sense. You're cutting the entire floor out and relocating things anyway. one inch or four inches shouldn't matter.

that said, I'd bag it before any sort of bodydrop. or just get bigger rims.

                            • Legit update!
I thought the truck was looking fucking stupid with the mesh wheels at the hight it was at so I threw the stockies back on for now. And I am hopefully putting the fuel cell in tomoro I have my friend who bags and bodies shit coming over to help put in because I've never done this before, so after that I gotta get my raised x member, and the notch then the bitch is going down
