so as you may or probably may not know, i had a white 1990 Volvo 740 that was slammed on sawblades.

it was pretty sweet, but it never ran and needed a whole lot of work to get it good, so i crushed it and kept an eye out for something that would be a better starting point for modding.

I found this, a 1989 Volvo 240. its slammed on homemade coilovers, has camber plates up front, is pretty freakin clean (paint job is less than 5 years old), and best of all has the engine from a 1991 Volvo 940 Turbo, but with a 15g (850 turbo) bolted on pushing 15psi. it needs a little work as it sits, but for now it runs and drives and is quick and looks good. the coilovers are all the way down up front, i want to get some shorter springs to get it lower. the rears are still just eibach lowering springs, but i might cut a coil or so. as far as wheels, the bronze virgos are pretty nice and the tires are brand new, so i think i'm going to run these for a little while until i can find the perfect set of wheels. maybe gottis or somethign along those lines. anywho, here are pictures. any suggestions are welcome!

this is the writeup that the previous owner used http://turbobricks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85793

soo i got some better pictures of my car today. I also did a little bit of work on it. i red tinted my tails, then smoked them a little bit. i like them and they're not too dark. they'll do until i can get some brand new stock ones. i also cranked down the coilovers up front until there weren't any threads left. it lowered it maybe .75 inches or so. i need shorter springs. also, i caught a screw in the right front tire, so i've got a steelie on it, but whatever.. im getting a new tire in the next couple days so it'll be good to go soon. anyway, here are the pictures!

i also found the wheels i'll be using. $80 craigslist special. wheels are dirty as hell but are in 100% perfect shape!

they're 15x8. thats all i know haha. idk the offset or bolt pattern, but with adapters, they'll work perfect. gonna have to run a little more camber up front, the backs will be good though.

Aww, I always loved your 740...
It's sad to hear that it was crushed.

But the 240 is real pretty, and the wheels look great.
Keep up the good work man!
