Let me see... tire sizes probably differ from the pinkslip, coilovers and spacers
As we know, we can't do a single thing to cars on this country. Still, on some inspection centers, they don't mind some things, and let it pass. On others, 20 euros means everything is ok...
I build my E36 for legality (stock springs, homologated tires, etc) to avoid those complications. But... I'm going to stance the E28 sooner or later, even if I have to tear it all apart once a year to get it inspected.
There are rumors that in a few years we will be able to get a "project" profissionaly made for our cars, with all the modifications specified, to get it all legal. Wow, how nice... (not).
Just for you US folks to get an ideia, if the cops pull us over using a diferent tire size from the ones on the pinkslip, it's 250 euros + special type B inspection (100 euros) + they keep our car's documents until then :S
All this to show that what Akeemking is doing is not only very cool, but also ballsy
metale
My tires size are legal and on green paper
passed them on LTA with the Compomotive MO 18" 8j ET50 wheels
and Coils on the highest set, as I've said in the beginning...
But yes, Portuguese authorities can be a pain... will see.
