damn man, was looking forward to the TDi, but this is way nicer IMO. nice pick up and nice choice of wheels!
Thanks man, honestly sometimes I miss the TDi. Usually, when that happens I hop in the car and rip down the freeway for a bit and I remember why I bought the Z lol
Hell yeah, awesome upgrade. Nismos are SUPER fun to drive, I think they look great too (although some people disagree with that one)
Plans to lower the company car?
Thanks man I appreciate it, not many people on here appreciate the car, but I guess thats to be expected. I'd lower the company car, but it's a Grand Cherokee I think I'd be better off lifting that one lol
On another note, a week ago I got a good call from one of my friends about one of my all time favorite cars becoming available for sale. He knew over the years I looked for the right specimen everywhere, either way over priced or too far gone. This one had been in his family and him being a BMW master tech, he knew this car inside and out. Even though the timing could have been better there was no way I could let this opportunity pass me by. The newest addition to our family......
The original exterior color is BMW royalblau metallic, mechanically the car drives like a dream. Shifts perfectly, pulls amazingly and with LSD even does respectable burnouts! Best part about this car is I'm the third owner and its originally from south carolina. Therefore other than some surface rusts in areas that were incorrectly primered the car is rust free. This 535is is a complete virgin. The major areas of concern are obviously exterior body and interior cosmetics. I've got a lot of work to do so for now enjoy these pics....
The weather this past weekend here in New England is finally starting to get better...I couldn't resist and had to take the old girl out a quick cruise. Of course I had to take an obligatory pic at the pump.... photo1 by cbreez23, on Flickr
I posted in the coilover section but I don't know how many people actually look there. Looking for some feedback on e28 coilovers what you're running and how you feel about it. I was planning on getting BC but they're back ordered for about a month or so and I don't want to wait that long. Pics would be a plus....
