  • Just another kid obsessed with his car...

Hey guys I've lurked and posted a few times over the past year. Learned a lot about the scene from everyone here. While I'm not new to cars by any stretch of the imagination, I am new to the stance scene, and this is my first attempt at it. I guess the time has come for me to finally show you guys what I'm working on. After owning about 5 different cars in the past 18 months I think I've finally found one that I actually fits me, 2011 VW Jetta TDi.

Here she is the day I bought her, at the dealership...

A few weeks later these came in the mail....

Getting ready to go under the knife....

After the transformation she looked like this...

Although I am extremely impressed with the ride quality of the ST coilovers, I was bit disappointed with the adjustments. The picture above is all the way down both front and rear.

Grabbed some wheels from a friend and ended up with the this, (no spacers needed lol)...

I removed the rear perches to get as low as possible with the set up, I'm ok with it overall for now as it hasn't even been 2 months, but I have plenty more to come. All criticism is welcomed, enjoy!

Smaller wheels would help, but it looks like you're headed in the right direction

Most MK6 guys seem to have your ride height problem with multiple coilover brands. I've seen guys start by buying coils, then going for bags out of frustration. Good luck man!

Yeah, I got these off a friend for a good price so I couldn't pass them up, considering how bad my stock wheels were. Saving up cash for the wheels I really want will be 17" rather than the 18" I have now

Haha trying not to disappoint myself here, taking it one mod at a time so I don't lose interest which always seems to be my problem.

Yeah, I"m a big fan of static everything. I haven't adventured off in the whole bag scene, but I may if I can't straighten out my drop.

Yeah, I've seen this happen as well. I'm holding out on taking that route as long as possible.

Thanks man, I try to keep my cars simple. Almost like what I wish they would look like from factory.

just an inch more drop would be perfect i think

Gloss black wheels and a light blue tint would look tits

Picked these up from a friend stock GTI wheels 7.5x18 ET51. Planning to strip these, refinish and polish, use them as my winter set up and get the road rash on the RS6 wheels repaired.

here's another pic of how she currently sits...

damn, i really like how it looks with the wheels it currently has, i would say get smaller tires for a more aggressive stretch then try and go lower and your set, that thing is boss!

                            good job!
