Little update on mine, well there hasn't been happening much around the car. But, since last update I have moved house, that requires quite a bit of work. So that's mainly what I was doing, just helping my dad. When I got some free time though, I did this. I sprayed my rocker cover, it looked "de-oxidized" (spelling). So i refreshed it with some nice silverish paint. I also started spraying my wheels one by one, fixing the scuffed edges and painting them a tiny bit darker than OEM color. And also I'm just tidying up inside, I washed the carpet on passenger and also cleaned the leather seat. There was some white paint, coffee etc that came off... but there was also some blue pen ink that was a Bitch! It didnt come off, matter fact it just spreaded even bigger. I'm not buying parts yet because I'm in college, trying to find a part time job. So haven't really got much income coming yet. Anyway, that's a little update of me and the car hehe and I'll let the pics talk.

That is pretty much it right now, hopefully I can find a job soon. So I can start making some real progress. Thanks for viewing

Hey guys, just a small update on what's going on. Im probably moving house later this month so the W124 is not really the highest priority right now, and spraying the bumpers, wheels etc is gonna have to wait, since it will take some time. And I dont wanna start doing it here at my current house and then moving stuff to the other house, loosing some parts in the process etc. It's just better to wait. Btw since I havent got much money right now, Im doing more work that requires time rather than money So, I'm reconditioning all the brake calipers and just basically doing a little clean up under the car. Also doing little bits, like the little light bulbs in the dashboard. I'm planning on having a go at restoring the leather seats as well. Here are some pictures:

Took out the heater control unit to change the light bulbs.


Took off the brake caliper on the front right side.



This is what I'll be using to paint them later after preparation. It's high temperature paint from Halfords, its black.
Didnt wanna spray them red, I think its too ricer. Anyway this paint takes up to 500 degress apparently and it was only £7.49



Gave the wheel a good clean



And cleaned up inside the wheel arch just because



So yeah, not much real progress. Just messing around with little bits.

Today I took out the Heater Control Unit because the light bulb on the right side was dead.
I'm going to get two new light bulbs, because I don't want one of them to be stronger than the other.
Also the area shown in the bottom of this picture, does it suppose to light up? I'm not sure
because it isn't and i dont know, if the light there is dead or it's not suppose to light up.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I want to trade. Which mirror do you need? You want to have the short ones, or the longer ones? There's quite a few on ebay here. We could do a thing, where I buy the mirror of ebay, i send it to you. And then you send me the money back on paypal or something.

not sure which ones will i prefer, also i can purchase from ebay, but the overall price + shipping is really high compared to the prices in my country.
