Trying to make sorts of the engine bay now. Its a complete mess with flaking paint and grease and oil everywhere. I just want it to be clean

      • Loving this thing, good to see you getting it all cleaned up and road worthy instead of rushing to slam it.

        • Saw this thread awhile back and knew it had great potential. Can't wait for it to be lowered!

maybe not in the mechanical aspect, but monetarily it sorta is if you work part time and go to college. thank god for scholarships. I've been clocking in early and clocking out late so I can afford a beam, tie rods, and all that. Its getting close.

BTW I adjusted the carb and got it running a little better.

before the end of april i wanna have the new wheels with portawalls on and hopefully the narrowed beam in.

                • got the carb adjusted and started on the wiring. runs like a charm now. smoother than a models legs.

                  in the meantime i got a gopro3.

                  • fixed some of my wiring so far. ordered a new turn signal switch and turn new signal assemblies and some other goodies.

once the wiring is done, i plan to go ahead and get plates for the thing.

                    then wheels.

                    then lower it.

                    • Like how you are fixing the driveability stuff before getting in a big hurry and dropping it.

                        • Got some parts in. Flat 4 Rosewood lock pulls, coloumn turn signal, pedal fix kit, and new turn signals.

(Yes I know the chrome top of the signals is on the wrong sides, but I like the chrome part on the outside better.)

                          • I really need to get some new front door panels haha.

So, the wiring is as far as its gonna get for a while. So onto heli-coils in the bottom of the block, that turn signal switch working. Then new wheels and tires. Then plates for road worthyness, and then lowering.
