I tried to lower the front end the other day to give it some rake but the nut you back off to turn the adjuster screw or whatever is on there ridiculously tight. Its not rusted on there or anything. Anybody have any smart ideas?
Also. Might be getting some cheap original low back seats.
So I'm ridiculously excited to detail this car. Its probably never been waxed since it was painted yellow. I know the paint isn't good and its chipping but hopefully this will give what paint I have left some protection and shine.
Forget to mention it in my previous post, but kick ass car! Good to see you are going to detail it properly!
You can get really nice achievements with especially old cars/paint!
I visited a show in Belgium last weekend. Before the show started i was washing and waxing the bug,
when i got a visit from a guy from Meguairs asking if the paint was original and that it looked so good and so on.
Got a few compliments about it even tough the paint job is terrible..
Just put some good effort and time in it, and you wel reach some nice bling bling!
