  • You want a Build? You can't have a Build. Crystal The 240sx Saga.

Alright, That's enough. Figured I'd post the 240 up since Me along with a couple friends have done alot of work as of recent to it. I'll start off in a timeline of sort. From Old to new. Clean to Rust. Running to not.

Fall 09? Bought it for a winter beater. Clean as hell Came with stock wheels and a set of rare longchamps. Put winters on the stockers and took the rear Longchamps off.

Spring 2010, found a zenki lip and put it on.

Waterpump went. So boom old motor pull time

new motor in, Swapped in a fresher S14 KA and trans since It was cheaper than getting a new pump and whatnot. shaved the hatch.

Put my RS*R invidia 3" exhaust on

Summer 2010, Basically drove it like that till this past spring.Didn't do much to it at all but beat it up

In the spring this year the car developed a Problem. Didnt start one day and to this day still wont start. No codes nothing, Gets fuel and spark. So It sat till a month ago

Got it to my shop, Stripped the interior out.Dont have a pic of it bare but heres one with all the interior jammed inside lol. I need to build shelves in the storage garage to hold it all

And Tonight, Tyrone and Stefan came by and we got most of the exterior done, Just got to drop the tank and we can start sand blasting.

Rusty rear quarter. needs some love

Thinking of just leaving the rear like this and running it Missile Status on the street.

And that's where Im at right now. Plans are
Sandblast the Rockers and floors, (rockers are actually cleaner than I thought they would be, Since I had skirts over them.
    Pull the motor,
    Shave the bay
new swap mounted up once I find a trans.
    Bodywork and paint the car,
    Interior Caca brown to black.
All new Suspension along with bushing, Hicas Removal with Custom rear Subframe.
    5Lug
Some Proper fitting Wheels and tires.
Aero and maybe a Over fenders on the rear, Front will have Wide fiberglass ones since I need new fenders and Cant fine clean metal ones.

              Are those real SSR Longchamps?
If they are, why not widen, slam, leave the awesome color it is now and have a super period looking 240. .02

              Either way, diggin it.

So got down and did some blasting done tonight. Had my buddy Jonny bring his blaster over and get to work while I cut out a back section of the 1/4 with a zipper.

                  Passenger front wheel well.

                  drivers

Drivers floor along the inner rocker. Going to cut out and weld in a simple L-Bent piece

Rear Quarter, You can see the lower 5 or so inches below the bodyline is gone. Cut out and The top is me checking out bondo from the previous owners

closer of the bondo'd area. Its got a couple small dings but dont know why he layered on so much bondo. Easy fix with a body hammer and a dolly + glaze.

Cars been sitting since October. Havent really done much on it since Ive had my Lincoln to finish. I just finally came to the realization and tough facts that I'll be sticking a 4l60e Auto now behind a Lq9 now instead of a T56. It'll be cheaper and easier in the long run, Not to mention faster.

Picked up the motor this morning. Along with a couple boxes of Parts for it. Mounts I got from a buddy the other Day. Just gotta order some go fast parts now and send the other heads out for cleaning and resurfacing.
