          Havent updated in a while..

So yesterday was another track day. Got up early and left around 5.15am and drove an hour to the Queensland Raceway. Decided to stop for breaky at maccas 5 minutes down the road. Ate my food and went to the toilet, when i came out i saw two cops at the counted both death staring me :p. So i walked out side and pretended to be on the phone hoping they would leave.. they did not. So i decided to just walk out to my car and whatever happens happens..

As soon as i unlocked it they walked over stating how low the car is and that it shouldnt be on the road etc. Fortunately they were really cool cops. Both in to cars and both use to race rally cars. Just my luck hey :p. After a few compliments about how clean the car was he issued me with a $110 fine for the car being under 100mm.

Fortunate because they told me everything they could get me for but decided not to ruin my day and told me to enjoy the trackday and to get a car trailer :p. So off i went. Got to the track and setup before driver briefing. 1st session like always was slippery but the car felt good. Was running perfectly. 2nd session out on Clubman saw a new pb with a 101.7. Had a moment coming out of the fast left hander going onto the back straight when i went off and the car started to slip out.. So much arse clenching :p

          Heres an incar vid.

As the day got hotter a switch up to the Sprint track was done. After two sessions i was running consistant 58.7 matching my pb's but still wasnt faster. Final session was 3 hot laps and finally got a 58.5. Not much of a pb but its enough for me :p. After that was passenger laps which was good fun. still running 59.00 with the extra weight :p

Heres an incar vid on sprint.

Tires were shagged by the end of the day with struggling for grip exiting turn 6 and the first dipper. Im confident with a new set of either RS-3s or stepping up to NT01's will see me in the low 57's - high 56's with more practice.

All in all was an awesome day. In 32*c weather the car ran flawless and water and oil temps never got over 100*c.

          Heres a couple of pics

Anyways heres a cool pic getting loose out of the dipper

Fast fours shoot done and dusted. Gonna be some awesome pics I can assure you.

Also picked up a 2nd hand set of nt01's and final track day at lakeside booked for next weekend my aim is 60's.. Anything under is a plus

          Here's a teaser

          Heres a instagram one :p

How do you usually roll up to the track? Spare tires and wheels somewhere? Or it's towtruck if anything happens? (just curious)

I just drive it to the track how im racing it on the day.. so splitter, wing and wheels all on the car.. i just keep tools, jack and jack stands in the car.

If something happens then i usually just have to take off the front bumper/splitter and call for a tow truck

But thats only happened once so fingers crossed haha

                            Update:

So decided to go out to lakeside for the last time attack event of the year. I bought some 2nd hand nt01's during the week from a forum member and put them on for this event. First time driving on semis so it was a new experience for me.

Driving out there the weather looked grim. Wasnt feeling great knowing the tires i was on haha :P Thankfully it passed and it turned out to be a great day.

First session out was good. Getting use to the tires, setting pressures and trying to keep out of traffic was the main part. Everything felt good, tires were really grippy and game me a lot of confidence. As the day went on i was slowing getting faster and more consistant with a string of 60.XX which was good to see. Last session was the best though. I was able to hold flat through the kink and almost hitting limiter in 6th just before the braking zone. Back section needs a little work and unfortunately gearing is making me hit limiter just under the bridge so i would like to step back to 4.1's i think.

Overall i had a blast, being in the top group was awesome and following the radical in the last session was too cool Stoked to finish the day with a 60.088. So damn close to 59second mark but ill get there eventually.

Heres a pic on track from Cooper.

Incar vid chasing down that radical before he got the better of me in the final laps

Packed the car up and drove it home. Couldnt have wished for a better day

very nice, gota love being able to drive the car to and from the track

Have you considered adding a diffuser to smooth out the airflow out the back, it looks like it would be rather turbulent over there.

I have.. But the only way I'd add a diffuser is if i was doing it proper and make up a flat floor so from splitter back it's flat. That way I could get the best out of the diffuser otherwise there minimal gains
