looks fun. Not bad enough to be embarrassed driving around, but not too nice to stop you from driving hard. In for more :3

Well the headgasket blew in the KA and its been sitting for a few weeks but I picked my self up a killer Black friday deal...

    SR20DET swap

We are pulling the ka and cleaning my bay this week and then saturday we should be pulling the sr and putting it in my hatch... December 15th is my first legitimate drift event so I will have some sideways photos/videos then

Currently it isnt a track car and no I wouldnt call it street drifting but a clutch kick here and there is deff fun and I do enjoy it..
Good point. I am used to seeing already built cars here transform into something even better.

Have you removed the timing chain guide from the KA yet?

Oh yeah, if you want to set yourself apart, look into the chuki DRL/fogs. Only seen one chuki with them ever. Same with the JDM chuki sides, no one seems to have them.

Sorry, wasn't feeling too good last night and felt like ****** on everyone.

It's cool though not really my place to say anything at all but I like to bust chops anyway and I tend to stick up for people who are being ***** on when the shit talking starts.
    Thanks

I'd say you should go with a RB20 though. Cheap, rev happy, original, and its bulletproof. As well as paving the way for an RB25 or RB26 swap.
If I were to go with any 2.0 motor it would be the SR because of the weight difference and part availability. RB25 would be my first choice of a RB though

Itll show up in a few months as the build progresses, Thanks for the input

    SR's are for quitters.

If you're going to spend the money an an RB20, you might as well spend a few extra dollars and do an RB26. No sense in half-assing a swap.
100% agree with the 20 not being worth it. The reason I want to go SR over KA is just the simple fact that ive never built a motor and would **** to throw a couple grand at something and just blow it up. But we shall see what happens.

But either way RB > SR.
    Only thing a RB20 has over a SR20 is a exhaust tone..

But I did just see a S13 with a 1j in it and that sounded amazing lol.

I really could get by with a SR or KA though my goal for now is only around 300hp

I bought this one for 1400 bucks, given it ran like poo. But the body is fairly straight, its got a few small dents and dings and some scratches but thats easy to fix.

November 3rd will be the first event hopefully. It all depends on work since im in the military. Also currently its just a KA24DE. I havnt made my mind up if I want to go the common route of the SR20 or build a Spare KA into a KA-T. Only time will tell

How is it a track car?

Do you feel cool for street drifting?

Also as Mr Von Smack said, it is a build, I didnt go buy a fully built track car because that would be dumb. Ive never drifted before its a cheap car to learn and it will do its job. I can add more power or other parts as I see needed to help me along the way. The plan is a fully built track only car in the end though
