well, last march I sold my 3.6 4 motion passat wagon because it wasn't really the car i wanted. saw a 01.5 s4 avant pop up for sale in new Hampshire, figured id try my hand at importing a car from the US to Canada as they never sold the s4 wagons here in Canada.
here's the highlights from the trip to get the car, left after work at 930 pm from halifax to drive to Vermont/new Hampshire boarder hit a snow storm got involved with racing some guy in a Subaru in my big turbo tdi in the middle of a snow storm. getting stuck on the guys drive way because he lived up a dam mountain and finding out the s4 has no heat about an hour after i bought the car. then back in Canada stayed at this shit hole motel guy asked my male friend and I if we wanted one bed or two....
anyway some pictures






car needed a timing belt, valve cover gaskets and front brakes immediately on my return. ended up doing oil pump because of the oil pressure light being on, turned out to be a broken wire

test fitted my wheels




took the nasty tint off the car sooo much better


and finally my coils showed up, also did a straight pipe from the down pipes back because race car.


cleaned up under the hood and painted some stuff+rns-e also all new front control arms.
pink,cause when the place in china says any color. you wanted to catch them at their bluff. (best description for the color is vibrator pink)


new boost gauge

rns-e half was installed but almost done, needs another sanding+ plasty dip

well, now its time to address the power issue with the car, put software on the car but its time for some "real turbos" looking at doing some form of gt series turbos or tial 605's cars coming apart next weekend going to pull rear sub frame and replace all the bushings etc since after almost 300,000 km the stuff is a bit tired. plus the original turbos and clutch god only knows how much more life is left in them. ill update this as i drop the sub frame.
