  • Lexus LS400 - First VIP Style Build for Me

Over the weekend I took a trip to the ATL area and purchased a 1999 Lexus LS400. Its super clean and I immediately fell in love. Just shy of 110k miles on the clock. I havent ordered any parts for it yet but I have big plans for this thing.

Anybody who has built one of these and came across anything I should go out of my way to do or avoid, please let me know!

If I were you, I would figure out my own wheels specs and do my own thing instead of copying someone else's work.

Anyway, good luck with your build man. I've always had a soft spot for VIP cars.

That thing is super awesome but on my first round with a car like this, I doubt Ill get that in depth with fender work and everything he has going on. As much as id like to. Thanks for pointing me to a great build thread tho!

Thats exactly what I thought. Pulling up to previous owners house I already knew I was going to drive it home once I saw it. Thanks man!

I also registered over at Club Lexus. Seems like there is a good bit of information with the users there

Ordered a non-navigation model climate control today. The old OEM navigation system in this thing drives me mad.

I am going to swap in the non-nav model climate control and do an aftermarket pioneer double-din navigation unit. Driving the car daily right now so my tunes are my first priority. Once my 20th GTi sells, suspension build time. Sorry in advance to keep you all waiting
