I tried my best not to absolutely kill the car, but that was all it had in it. The Ziex 612's kept me from really getting my ass off the line any faster without blowing the tires off, and I didn't want to beat up the clutch too bad. Not terrible for a box-stock M3 with 121k miles on it.

I was happy with this run for my 60' and so-so R/T. I'll be back next year. Hopefully we can have a friendly match in the high 12's with another car.

I was racing an S2000 and a Legacy GT with a Cobb flash, we were going back and forth all night within tenths of seconds of each other. I had a riot.

Because no progress.



The only things that have changed on the car since I last posted are a power steering tank change, a fluid flush, and a handful of trips to the track.

All of my time has been taken up working on this

I spent all summer working on updating my house and tinkering around with other projects, most of which needed a lot more work than the M3. I only managed to put 2,300 miles on the car this year, and most of those miles were from driving to Watkins Glen and New York International Raceway Park.
