  • The Boss Performance Miata

I don't know how much back story I should post or how much of a "build" this really is. At the moment the car's not a major project other than replacing the oil pan I destroyed last night. I do however plan to make progress on it soon, but I've got a lot of other stuff going on. So for now this will mostly just be small updates, pics from the past, and lots of new pics too.

For those who haven't seen it, below is the video of me rolling my M Edition Miata at Buttonwillow.

On to my current Miata, a 1990 base model. Here's a brief mod list:

    - Enkei RPF1 14x7 +19 (Miata Hubcentric)
    - 195/55/14 Federal 595's
    - 20mm Hubcentric Spacers
    - Stance Coilovers and Raceland Coilovers
    - Raised Engine
    - Grip Royal Woodie II
    - NRG Gen 2.0 Quick Release
    - Momo Hub
    - Sparco Sprint V's
    - G-Force Latch and Link
    - Hard Dog Single Diagonal Roll Bar

Here are a few recent videos. First one isn't mine, second one is of me busting my oil pan.

I found this lodged in my oil pan.

What's weird is that there's been a BOSS in Tacoma since like 1990 and I know you're not one of his cars... Interesting.

No doubt FABEL takes the cake on slamming any car period, but Ben's Miata's like a face flat penny or two higher lol.

I ain't on your dick though, Ben.

Surprised you only broke the pan now though to be honest. You planning on putting a plate on now?

I have a skid plate pre cut that's been sitting in my garage for months but hasn't gone on because it would drag. I may put a flush one on at some point, we'll see.

And as low as I can go on these tires haha. It rubs in the front and rear if I hit even the slightest bump, I could only go lower if I tubbed the chassis or got smaller tires.

I like the meat on those tires, looks functional and low.

I know I am going to get hanged for this, but I like it more than fabel.

It has an old school look to it, with the lows, not just beaten to hell and low.

Thanks! I could have gone with smaller tires, but I prefer the meat.

I try to take care of it at least a little bit.

Wasn't it raised for a few months? I saw it in Bonney Lake a few weeks ago looking like a racekor.

Yup, I rock both height's and I'm not ashamed to say it. When you saw me, I was on my Stance (my fun occasional track use coilover), and in all these other pictures where I'm slammed, I'm on Riceland's. My alignment is actually setup for my raised height because I DGAF about the handling on the slammed setup. Here's my other stance:
