This car just screams class. Super clean, super classy. I approve.

thanks everyone, i wasn't too sure on the white roof before i done it but now that its on the car it looks soo sweet ! the roof is just 3m sticker vinyl in matte white. yeah the paint is really flat has had a very good paint job about 10 years ago but was dull and the cut and polish just brought it back to life.

starter motor has packed a sad so im thinking is it engine conversion time .. haha.

any ideas on a engine that would be well suited. i just want really good fuel economy so i can afford to drive it everywhere

Just fix the starter (cheap!) and drive the wheels of it for a couple of years!

Do you really want it stuck in the shed for another 12 months?

One on the road is worth ten in the garage!!!!!

                          ENJOY!

Sounds like you need to swap in a turbo OM606.

Nice Benz! I'm in New Zealand too, over the hill in Mount Maunganui.
I have a blue 1971 3.5 V8. Drinks fuel like it's going out of fashion! Drive it as much as I can afford though.
Can I ask where you got your front seats from? Parts for these old girls are pretty hard to come by over here.
