    Awesome car, my vote is definitely for white centers on the wheels.

    By 'shoe horn' he means to try to fit into it, I guess he's a big guy. A shoe horn is one of those curved bits of plastic/metal that you use to help put your shoes on.

    That's why the engine is 99% ready,some things are just painted (like more tins etc) and are still wet
    I know the cooling is very important with aircooled engines.

    I'm travelling with my best friend from NY all the way to Miami.

    I took a 6 hour road trip with a wad of cash in my pocket to purchase one of these...couldn't "shoe horn" myself into the car. So sad.

    Are you missing your lower cylinder tins or are they just not installed? I learn the lesson about missing tins the hard way on my 72.
