I guess im going to go ahead and call this my build thread. This car started out in pretty bad shape but i bought it when i was 16 for 2300 bucks and all it needed was a new clutch so i couldnt really pass it up. Before i started lurking around on here i made the bad decision of getting wheels before low. But i think i finallly got the hang of things now

Heres what it looked like the day i brought it home



Then i made the horrible mistake of buying a set of ASA's and a cup kit :banghead:





Then i came to my senses and sold the wheels and cup kit and got coils



So of course since i made one right move i made a HUGE wrong one and got a set of sawblades and for some stupid reason painted them Starlight Purple..:banghead::screwy::facepalm:





I then decided to wrap the hood in zebra fabric the night before i left for h20


At this point i realized that i was heading in the wrong direction so i pretty much wanted restart

started with getting a gli trunk and shaving the body line, sold the wheels and got a new hood



Then this happened




After i got it back on the road i decided i wanted to shave the door rubstrips



Then got the rest of the body work done and primered up



Sat like that for a while then made a roadtrip to pick up Savvvs Rear bumper and sideskirts





Savvvs rear rubstrip was molded so i did it to the front as well

Then raised it for paint


And here how it sits today :wave: Had it resprayed the Jeep Sahara Tan

Great color. Ive seen this thing around the broadneck/ sp area when it had primer on it. It looks nice. You wouldn't happen to know tino's would you?

but that turnaround! glad you "came to your senses" as you put it and turned this into a really beautiful car. huge fan of the color!
