Thanks guys! Yeah ill probably look into getting a pair of 16x8s next summer just because winter is approaching soon. But other then wheels im not to sure what else i want to do with this car? Any ideas you guys have?

a few ideas come to mind

- cleaning the engine bay
- some interior work, and then de-tinting the windows (or just lighter tint)
- de-striping the doors

By de stripping the doors, what exactly is that? What about shaving all the door handles? Maybe save up and get new paint. Thinking flat white would look unique? And with interior im not exactly sure how to re-do my headliner for example. Any web sites out there that explain how to do so?

Just a little update nothing to big. Took out my headliner wanted to try something new, and add a little style to the inside of the car.



So I went with the one of greatest inspirational men...Bob Marley haha
It was a little tricky getting the headliner out, definatly need a second or even third person to help you.
Then just measure, cut, glue, and done!
Also I never took a picture of my clearance of the car. Always seeing people do that so decided i would join the group!

Mini chapstick and a penny under it ha.

I know ill probably go into a state of depression if i do sell it!

I just want a car i can do some engine work on, not just lil interior and exterior stuff. Pretty much i just want a car(manual!) that has way more power. And this wasnt really a project car, it was already very clean, nothing wrong with it, good paint, and drove fine.

Will see though still not completly sure i want to get rid of it. If i did i want a vwmk1gti or mk2 gti or golf, or mk3!

Well updates... nada! Just swerving around every pot hole and avoiding ALL speedbumps Winter is right around the corner in northern Idaho. So the question is stay slammed or raise it up and throw on the winter tires?? Probably option two, dont feel like being my own personal plow ha!

Not bad at all. I would say, get wider wheels, but those small wheels would be fine if this thing was on the ground!
