  • Bags are for groceries... and my car.

This is going to be a super slow build. Here is my shiney new GTI that I am going to start making a mess out of.

Started work on my car today, cut a hole under the headlight switch for my valves. Tomorrow I am going to work on getting the compressor mounted in the trunk.

    Stuff from bag riders:

Did a little work on my car today. Got some bamboo hardwood flooring and installed the tank and compressor.

Yay for some awful cellphone pictures.

No I was too busy playing with power tools haha.

I cut the floor a little small so i stuffed some garage door weather stripping around the edge, need to find a better solution.

Installed the front stuff today and there was much cursing yelling and throwing of tools. the front struts would not come off the bloody car. next the rear bags and hopefully less expletives. pictures tomorrow.

Coilovers would have been so much easier, would have been done by now. So far bags have been more fun

The front bags are installed and other than the left side loosing 20psi overnight everything seems to be in good order.

                            Airlines to the paddles:

Stock suspension mk5. I need to cut out my fender liners and get a notch done for more low:

                            Not too far to go:

                            Some crazy rake:

All the paddles are crooked now because of the way I ran the airlines. Some adjustments will need to be made behind the dash so they sit level.
