Sup Stanceworks? My names Andy all the way from little ol' New Zealand
Decided i'd show you guys what stage im at so far. Car is a 1995 Subaru Legacy Sw 250t which is equivalent to Usa's Lx wagon?
* some photos may be of shit quality so bare with me *
Anyway im only focusing on suspension/handling so its going to be low & slow
This is what i started out with.
Then got my D2 coilovers installed.
Test fitted my 16" steelies i had, didn't have tires tho so couldn't put them on
They are 2001 VW Beetle steelies, 16x6.5 et42 but running 20mm spacers bringing them to et22
Painted my standard wheels Satin Black, went lower and 20mm spacers all around but not as low as you other guys because in NZ you have to get coilovers certified to be able to use your car and at this stage i hadn't done this so didnt want too much attention from the 5-0.
Finally got average tires for my steelies and black was not going to cut it so colour change.
Got around to cut wheel studs down and put on the steelies, after some rolling and hammering it was time to cruise out to a meet where i got my picture taken.
And other photos i took today.
The steelies have a 'decent' stance for not being widened due to the offset. The plan is to continue to roll on steelies, maybe lower it some more, bigger spacer in the back and in the future to look for some 3 piece 15" rims.
Most likely heard it before but im a student and cannot dump all my money into this, for example my meaty tires do the job without costing to much.
Thanks guys!
