I recently used pretty much your exact setup to bag a BMW Bavaria and we MIG welded everything and it turned out completely fine. The welds aren't as pretty as TIG welds would've looked, but they were plenty strong and have had no problems yet. Good luck!
Is it possible to keep oem upper strut mount instead of using the ones in the kit? or the oem ones won't be enough tough?

I'd say that TIG would be ideal, but MIG is totally sufficient as long as you're settings are right and you are getting good penetration on both metals. If this is your first time welding, have someone experienced do it.Originally posted by zblex View PostHi!
