    keep up the good work
They are heavy to be fair however it was more a case of doing something different for the owner so we lashed on Cheers mate

So after machine sanding the cast metal back to within an inch of its linfe with a 60 grit head I took it up to 120 > 240 > 400 > 600 > 800 > 1200 > 1500 and then finally fingerprintless gave it a polish with a mix of compound and peek...

Cast Wheels = Never Again (Well who knows if I get bored )

Next week the centre's will be soda blasted and painted a lovely fresh colour

Right so I haven't had much to do with this recently and I was reluctant to start on the wheels having given one a quick attack while I had the car. Anyways they needed to be done so I used a mix of compounds that I think has given the best results. the problem with reversing the dish is that the inner dish is of a lower grade material that the outer dish. When you sand the dimpled surface away your left with pits in the metal, kind of like stone chips on paintwork so to cut past that level of imperfection you really have to dig into the metal, the hardest part of this refurb is getting past all the imperfections in rge metal itself first. I have 3 wheels done however I am only half way throught the 4th, once they are all cut back I'll begin the preparation sanding for polishing however to get to this level was with a 60 grade !

    Glad your enjoying it mate.

Went out to Chris last night to get a proper look at the car and take some normal sized pic's

Split the wheels to drop the centre's out for paint (TVR Purple) got a look at the challenge ahead. Due to flipping the centre's for more dish the inner linner is cast and has alot of pits in it so bring up a good finish will be hard enough :

The car should be ready either this weekend or next so finished pic's soon
