The clean28

[BMW BRAH]

So i was on my way to work this morning and all of the sudden my eyes got really sensitive to the sun, it was like snow blindness. i drove like this for a half hour before the pain got too intense. i ended up at the ER and the told me i had an issue with my corneas. HURRAY NO WORK

so being my stupid self instead of resting like i was told to do i worked on the car!


i attempted to clean my carpet ... i scrubbed and scrubbed

AND TADA!!!! its still brown and nasty! ill pressure wash it again later



I got my floors 80% done ill finish this week and hopefully have my interior all in

Okay im hoping to get the car painted In the next few months (if my eyes can freaking get better so i can weld) So in the mean time im trying to brainstorm some colors... originally i was going to spray it the original color, burgundrot-metallic, but since almost every body panel is gonna be new im thinking im mix this project up a bit!

im thinking im gonna do bahamabeige-metallic... or do i do the original... OR do i go green???

what do you guys think??

I found a matching set in the box! i think im gonna make a center gauge pod ontop of my dash. My buddy made a really nice one with ABS plastic and PVC pipe so ill give it a shot.

Hopefully my other quarter panel gets here by the end of the week so i can start doing some cutting!

FREE is awesome! I envy you sir! Have fun with it I have owned 9 528e's so far. Yours is pretty rough but it's awesome someone is fixing it up. You should thinnk about doing a b35 upgrade before engine install. Maybe even a Miller MAF. Just a thought!

what all is the difference between a b34 and a b35? is it just the head and pistons??

I'm lovin' this build, I hope to start a project build myself next year. I would do the Green in the last row as the new paint color. Mix that with a creamy tan interior....MMmmMmmMMMmmm!

I just figured out how to subscribe to this so I am definately keeping up with it. My plans for my wife's manual e28 are going to be based off the progress in this thread... especially regarding to cutting and restoring the floorpan.

First thing was first i had to clean... I **** DIRTYNESS if theres a mess i just cant work

i pulled her out of the garage so she could get some sun (dont tell he i said it but she look very pale these days)

Since im lazy i then left and i went to my friends house and had some food and drank, he was showing me the changes he is doing to his stock car and i took a picture of his stance... DAT CAMBER[/COLOR]

Now lets all fast forward to tonight...... i finally got my other quarter panel in!

I pulled out my rear window, it was seriously the easiest thing i have done. i used a screw driver to pry on the seal and then all i did was push the window till it popped out! (its nice having a dad who has been working on BMWs for almost 25 years too) but it went nice and clean!

I then finished my night by stripping the rest of the interior and i pulled off some headliner

I hope i can start cutting this weekend... but im so busy i need to get my truck prepped for an offroading trip that i have in 2 weeks AND this Sunday im going to Auto Mass Huge car show and amateur drifting!
