Those are stock oem early model tail lights, not touched! E28 has the chrome trim, but I like that look? Idk have you tried removing it? lol

The e28 m5 runs black trim if you like that more? Try and find some m5 tail lights?





You can just mask and spray your's get that chrome black.... Or color match your car... IDK I like the chrome tho lol
