Uhh no way. I love my Pfebba lip. It takes cones out with no issues

but are you cleaning the metal where you are welding before you weld? grinding, sandblasting or whatever your thing?
Yeah I clean it all up. I welded everything and then realized the polarity on the welder was wrong. That's why it's been so shitty.

No thanks. I can't afford wisefab and the SLR kit is the same thing at a much better price.

Oh god yes. Those seats sucked. The hardest part was staying in one place while transitioning. Now it's breeze. You should. If it's a 535 it should have no issues.

Anyways here are those videos. I get a little camera shy and as a result I spun out on both runs. But you get the idea. The car did amazing. I've had multiple pro-am drivers and friends take it out. They all love it.

For those interested here is a full list of what has been done to the car and how it's set up when i'm on track.

Alright since Stanceworks decided to log me out while I was typing this up like 10 minutes ago, here is my 3 months worth of an update.

Here is my last known shot of the car in the ACSs both rears were completely toast so onl the fronts were on.

Here are the pics from my last drift event on the ACSs

That event went really well. I got very comfortable with my e-brake and got my suspension pretty much dialed in. I ran until basically the last run group. Halfway through my car dropped below half a tank and started fuel starving so I called it quits and didn't think anything of it.

Between that event and this one I didn't really do anything except put those harnesses in and change my wheel set up. I couldn't find/afford to put nice tires on the ACSs so I traded them to a friend for his style 32s. I'm now running 17x8s up front with an ET0 and 17x9 et 14 in the rear. Both with spacers. I also went from 205s all the way around to 225s. It has made the biggest difference. I've got full front end control. Absolutely zero understeer. It's so awesome. Here is how she looks now. Not a fan of the black, but it's functional.

That made my next event absolutely amazing. I got some Conti sport contact 2s up front and she drove like a dream. Here are some pics from that event. I literally just found some more.

Here is my favorite from the day. Me and my friend running tandem at the end of the day. This was my first real taste of running tandems. It's so crazy. I already can't wait to get out there at the end of year bash.

Here are a couple I found like 5 minutes ago.

The day was going quite well until it got hot again. My car started running lean again. and until this event it had never crossed my mind that my crappy exhaust was the issue. Turns out the exhaust was pointed straight at the gas tank. I feel like such an idiot for not noticing. It was heating the pump and fuel up and making the car fuel cut. I solved this by spraying the tank down with a hose in between runs. That was all fine and dandy until this happened.

Yep that's right kids. Coilover number two snapped off. FML I had to trailer the car home and when I got it off the strut was bent so far back I couldn't get the ABS sensor out and had to cut the wires.

I spent almost two hours grinding, heating, and bending the strut back.

I welded it back up and it's held fine. But I know it's going to happen again. Welds were done with flux wire. Looks like shit but it works.

After the event I got numerous complaints about how loud the car was. So I welded this up.

Looks nice. But sadly it wouldn't fit with the gas tank where it is, So I had to settle for this.

You may be wondering why there's a hole in my trunk. I cut the spare tire well out to weld in a flat trunk piece for a fuel cell. Haven't had time to get to it yet. I have the metal just need the time. While I was in there I moved the battery to the trunk. Now I drive a real BMW

Cost me $12 got the cable for free from a 750 that fried it's fusebox and got the whole thing replaced under warranty. CHA-CHING!

Like most people I get way ahead of myself. As of right now I'm trying to work on a shit ton of stuff. I picked up an e36 subframe and rack to convert my car to.

I decided to start on my widebody. I was originally planning on doing e30 m3 box fenders. But I found this picture in the E28 M5 CSL build thread and promptly changed my mind.

I'm going to use his design and make mine the same. Just not fiberglass. I ain't that rich. I love this car. It's my favorite BMW ever. Pure sex

I started. and this is how the car looks now. But I got side tracked by some other stuff. One of which being another drift event.

I threw the hood back on for safety's sake. Apparently people are afraid my engine is going to fly off and kill babies. (As if the hood would stop it if it did, which it won't.)

Also picked up a set of Corbeau GT seats since my E21 seat wasn't cutting it. They're so nice. I've only got one in now. Just need to make the bracket for the other one.

    Installed. They look so gooooooddddd.

Also picked up a Z3M shifter. 10 of 10. Would recommend.

Here is a pic from the piedmont drift event I did. It was a different experience. It was a very technical track. I'll post some videos tomorrow. I had a blast. And didn't break anything for once. The new exhaust quieted the car down and stopped it from leaning out.

Here in NC the temperature has dropped quite a bit so I had to do a coolant flush and replace my thermostat. The car loves actually getting up to operating temperature in the cold.

    Found my problem. lol

    Gross

That's pretty much all I got for now. I have new big brakes coming in and I should hopefully start working on the widebody this week. Can't wait to get it all done. Here are some more random pictures I have of the car and some stuff I've been working on.

This is almost full lock. I put 20mm spacers on the front to get the ET0

Ballin on the way to piedmont

BC finally sent me replacement bottom mounts since they actually broke above the welds. I just need new kingpins an I'll get them welded up and put on.

That's all folks. I'll post videos tomorrow.

So my car got pissy with me over the last few week. On the way to work on of my tires exploded. So I spent all morning on the side of the road waiting for a friend to bring me a spare I could use. Then a few miles into the trip home my buddies car started acting up. Typical M52 swapped e30s...

Then I found my roof racks! They had been sitting at a friend's house for going on 4 months. They were dusty a hell. But now they're sold and gone and you'll never see them again.

Got tired of riding around with open headers so I welded my exhaust back on. This shit will never leak again! I did a much better job thi time. I caked a ton of bead on there to seal it up nice and tight like...

Random photo of my lugs, Gonna paint these soon. The purple is gay. I want something gayer.

I broke the connector on the left and it'll play an imortant role later on in this update.

here's where things really go downhill. So I tried to swap to 19# injectors. I replaced all the seals and I was super excited. It's to bad I don't have an o2 sensor. The car couldn't adapt to the injectors and was running way to rich so I had to swap them back to the 16s. I used the new seals on those too.

On startup I forgot to ground the fuel rail. And I blew either the main relay or the speed and recerence sensor. So now the car won't start at all. Sometimes I **** this thing. But whatever.

I also painted my valve cover and my beauty cover for the afm and my extra c-pillar trim.

Then I started gutting the car some more and put my racing harnesses in. They're so awesome.

Also got our garage in somewhat of an order. I finally have all my tools the way I want them. We also picked up a 20 gallon compressor which is awesome.

Next event is the 25th of this month. I'm not sure if i'll be there or at the vintage.

More stuff. I had a great week. Got to go work MINIs on the dragon and got to drive this. Brand new MINI Paceman S. I only set the brakes on fire 3 times.

I also got to drive a 2013 JCW and a Roadster S Both were awesome.

I was also in a dry county and discovered this in a grocery store I've never heard of.

    Now how about some pictures.

    New fishing pole for SOWO

    Car being low

Car next to a 500 wheel torque boosted E28. Also on BCs and also with ACS wheels.

Also found this stuck in my shifter column. That's why second gear was being a bitch.

    Some sweet coilover action

    Studs and coilovers

Welds with some Walmart paint thrown on

    Rear

    Rear adjusters

    Got euro trim for days

    Front with maxed out camber

    Nasty ass engine bay

Euro trim off. And roof rack back on until after SOWO

Gas stationing. Yes that's a verb.

    More gas stationing

    Some cool MINIs

    Some cool gas in bumfuckmountaintownville

That's all. I gotta fix my bumpers and trim before SOWO and I'm going to give her a good cleaning before then. I need to fix my front wheel bearings welding the coilovers on melted the seals and they're shot. Enjoy my boringness. I'm to tired to apply myself to this right now.
