One filthy BA4

It all started 2 years ago when i was given my brothers old prelude that had a broken timing belt aka 16 fucked valves. After searching around i picked up a fresh jdm head and intake manifold, rebuilt it, ported it, and threw the motor back together. this prelude is anything BUT clean. when i got the car the cancer had already long claimed the quarter panels.

It took me awhile to get it looking right...







this is how it sits today


this car is gnarly and old. its not jdm tight yo!!! i would prefer to not be thought of in the same category as civic kids.

Thanks guys!I'm out in the rockford area. And the lude doesn't get out much just cuz its not my daily anymore. I'm never going to send this thing to the scrappers. Its been am amazingly reliable car to me and has been through some stuff that should have totalled it but it ended up just coming out fine. I would like to flares in rear I just have no idea what flares to use.

ill have a different lip in abut a month. maybe play around with some flares if i can find a good deal on some. i daily drove it like this for awhile but the lip is just thrashed now. so im switching to a vw lip instead of this volvo one.

After a year of being financially fucked, making the mistake of buying a civic, and losing all motivation im back.
sold this pile of shit last week...

fender was fucked up from running it over while driving...
so i covered it up...

hopped back in my prelude for a week. lowered it some more...

then realized how fucked the car was, and with how bad the rust was i could hardly justify putting all that work into a car that wasnt even semi-clean.
so fate jumped in and put this kid in my path with a 90si he had bought with a broken timing belt. he pulled the motor then realized that 3rd generation prelude are the honda bastard child with pretty much no aftermarket support. I picked up the shell today, immaculate interior. there is some rust on the rear quarters but its not very bad. for $400 i got a steal. so for tomorrow I'll be ripping the motor and trans from m 89 and dropping it into this.

yeah im still not exactly sure what the plan is for the new car. I'll be in north carolina for the next week at the east coast prelude meet. so hopefully i will find some ideas there.
