i just want to know if this guy really took standard face mounted centers and reverse mounted them. i would really hope not. the outside register of standard face mounted classics is not flat, obviously meaning they are not machined to be reverse mounted and it would be real unsafe to do so. would put lots of stress on all parts involved, especially the bolts.

after further review, looks like he did do exactly what i thought he did and reverse mounted some standard face mount classic centers. then it looks like he standard face mounted them back, hence why the first pictures with those classics they poke all around and then the second set of pictures they tuck.

just glad he didnt leave them like he had them. would not have been safe at all.

No the outer lip of the face was machined flat on those faces so they could be reverse mounted.
