  • Goodbye e39, helllllo e46 m3

Some of you might remember my old e39

Well I sold that a few months back to pick up this stock (other than dinan stuff) e46 m3. This is the day I picked it up.

Since then I've gone through a few sets of wheels, csl bootlid, and put some bc coilovers on it which is where it is at now.

But then I realized what was I doing without a set of ccw's? So I found a super cheap set and they came in today. I flipped the face of one of the rears and put it on the front and it fits perfect.

Now I just need to figure out what size lip I can fit out back and then order them, as well as a stud conversion kit so I can run some project kics I bought impulsively a couple weeks back.

i saw it with the twists and csl lid and thought the e46 has been perfected. then i saw the ccws and barfed, and died a bit inside
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

lol the offsets on the rear were too weak and sunken in (just look at the picture). Not to mention they were covered in patches of spray paint.

                What're the specs upfront?
                Tire size and brand?

If you don't mind me asking of course.

I don't know exact because the PO had no clue, before I flipped the face it was around 19x9 et23ish and now its quite a bit lower.

I'm running a 225/40. And I don't mind at all, can't wait to see you get yours rolling. I originally wanted futuras or some equips but got a good deal on these.

                  Edit: oh ya falken 512's.

Im tryna see how yours poke and the tire stretches. Still tryna figure out what I wanna run upfront, my wheel is 9.5.

I'm clearly missing something here... what's wrong with CCW's?

probably over-done? I like 'em - nothing wrong with a classic look that's been done over and over, because well it just works for the car.

Especially if he picked them up on the cheap.
