Very very nice. I love this so much. The simplicity, the fun factor, the color. I want one.

Hello, very beautiful work, I am French and I also have one w108. Have you measures to give me to make supports for the airride?
How you fixed supports to the car?
Thank you

alright....after one and a half days of work....its up! pulled about 10 hours yesterday, and 14 hours today [half of which was in the rain outside]...heres the pics:

rear bottom spring cup/retained bored out to accept bag riders D-cup assembly

welded in

assembled

installed

front cups built, i ended up trimming out an inch off the cup and shaving the front cup on the sub frame because it wouldnt let me go low enough.

working on the front with my buddy who helped me with the whole build

fronts in

wiring the valves...dont get 1/2" valves like i did...so loud and so fast, i need to get mufflers now...

sky jacking it!!!
lot of work to do in just 1.5 days, i got flash burn like crazy from welding in the cups on on the front lower control arms.....right now its aired up for overnight to check for leaks in the morning...then its off to NJ!!! see you there!Last edited by lewda; 08-24-2013, 01:18 AM.

i went with URO, its like a quarter of the cost of the OEM one. Its kinda of a bitch to get in though, you need to make sure the chrome trim piece for the top is in the rubber before you mount the windshield into the car, other wise youll never get it in. One tip is to let the rubber sit out in the sun before you put it in so its more pliable.Originally posted by 250Cmoneypit View Postso sick. great build. Good luck getting the air in, Im tuned in for the updates! When you did the windshield gasket, where did you get it from? Was it the URO brand or did you go OEM? Thanks.

Good luck man, I'll be watching this space...I'm tempted to start my air ride install in a couple of weeks, after the trunk is done. I should make a move !!! only had the kit since February :S
