Disclaimer, this build already happened but I'm new here, and it's always a work in progress so I'm making a thread anyways. I've got my fire resistant undies on
So I purchased the car back in 2010 after my 92' 325i was vandalized and was beyond salvage. I found it on a creepy Missouri version of Craigslist and I purchased the car for 1000 cash AND an AR15
It sat in the PO's backyard for two whole years before they decided to hawk the thing.
Day 1.

Neither of the front windows worked, the sunroof was working but on its death bed, there was no climate control whatsoever, the rear shocks were blown and the brakes were gone.
I swapped my donk-tatsic tasteless wheels onto and painted the grills flat black and put my clear tails on it... it sort of looked like a car worth driving... sort of

Then I drove it this way all year until I got deployment orders to go to Afghanistan for a year, I parked it at my parents, and thats when I decided to get serious.
each month I allotted myself a sizable chunk of money for parts, and started getting involved on my home forum, gaining knowledge, facts and advice.
The first thing I bought were a set of coilovers, and once I had gotten my feet wet I quickly dove right in and started purchasing everything I could see myself doing on my own...Brakes, bushings, control arms, intake, exhaust, speakers, head unit, camshafts, tune, cooling system, bumpers, wheels, lights... Everything short of shipping the car off to a body shop and starting with a fresh shell.

When I came home that august for 2 weeks of R&R leave I started working on the car. Most people go on drinking binges and do crazy stuff on their vaca from the Land of Sand, but I was certainly content working on my car.

It didn't take me that long to do most of the stuff, being an experienced mechanic helped alot.
I was pretty pumped at how it looked after such short time.

Then the wheels went on...

Soon enough my leave was over and I said a somber goodbye to my family, friends, and the 328.
6 months later though, I was back in the driver seat... and change was a callin' my name again.
I decided that I ***** the smoked clear corners and DEPO lights, so I changed over to DJ Autos and ambers, I decided that the borla exhaust wasn't loud enough so I bought the Corsa RSC36, and Then I went through a phase... and bought a roof rack.

Quite a few months went by and I was happy with the current product. Then in June I completed my active duty contract and was released back in the the lovely world of being a civilian... and decided to change a few things again, off came the roof racks, out came a buffer, compound and wax, Turner Motorsport was kind enough to send me a windshield banner after pumping thousand's into their bank accounts, I took a few turns out of the coils and hit up a car show...

and I won some stuff.

Also a week prior I had done a little beach meet in RI with some fellow E36er's

And that's where we're at as of today. Next week is Bimmerfest East and I'm convoying down and a group of about 20 of us are getting group parking, maybe Ill see some of you there.
