  • Jetta Mk II - From Sweden

I needed something nice to hit the road with this summer, so I bought me a Jetta.
Pretty good shape, but who want to ride in a original Jetta?

The first day with the Jetta, totally original.

A few days later i picked up some XXR 527 15x8.25 ET 0. Looks retarded!

I ordered coilovers the same day that I bought the car so like 6 days later I got some package from Germany.

After some fender rolling and some cutting in the plastic it was on the road!

The tires rubbed pretty much in the rear so I mounted some homemade camber shims and then i could lower it a bit more

    Needs moaaar low I know!

I looking for the US spec plastic behind the rear numberplate, the one with just space enough for a us plate! If someone have one msg me or just throw a comment!

    /A

Normally I don't like anything but period correct wheels on older style cars, but this works! Good job, which coils did you go with?

Also I normally **** when people mount roofracks for no reason but I think this car would look rad with some cross braces..and a bunch of plaid inside and out!

Yeah thats kinda funny, but the US spec looks alot better, and thats the only way to get small plates in Sweden

It will be a color change on the wheels when the snow is coming, that maybe will change your mind?

Not my favorite wheels for a mk2, but overall the whole thing looks great.

Nah just a basic red i think, but maybe glossy will look better on a solid white car..
