No. The motor swap isn't going to happen. I don't have the means to do it so close to SoWo. If anything, I'll either redo the current head, get a new one, or more than likely just leave it as is.

Haha, honestly other than the clogged fuel filter and dead pre pump, and the CV boot that blew up, I had no mechanical issues with ODB on my move from TN to here. Hopefully I have enough time to make sure he's completely mechanically solid before the drive.

Emailed a good wheel company that might have barrels in stock, so hopefully those happen soon. Did the math and 5.5" barrels front and back will result in 11s/12s, with 5"/6" outer lips, so I'm doing that.

Haha heck yea. I have major plans for my coupe. Im going to do a bit of restoration before i buy wheels.Ive got about 1500 bucks to spend and just want to get it running like new before i throw some wheels on. It looks good on stocks in my opinion.
Plus, I am not even sure with what style wheel i want to run. i just know i want to run 17x10.5 in rear and 17x8 in the front.

Depending on my funds and the cost, I may have the lips and centers polished and cleared. The more I look at it, the more I don't like the all black finish.

i really liked the look of the full polish. i believe ODB may appreciate it too. You know the whole "bling,bling" type thing lol

Garret, I will legit buy a yellow one for you to run on your Mk2. Which is now forever in my head named Ghostface Killah.

Ordered some new Ireland Engineering front camber plates tonight. That should be the last of the big things that I need for the suspension. The wheels are at the machine shop getting their hub bores enlarged out to BMW spec, and I should be able to place an order for a new set of barrels/lips by the end of this week.

Oh and I also got another job down in Santa Monica, which will make it easier for me to find time to work on getting everything ready on ODB.
