Hey all,
Im from Australia, where Kangaroos dont cross the roads, this is my E34 520i Euro Spec, its a 1992 with 195k kms on the clock. Sadly its also an Automatic. So yes your thinking this sucks. Dont worry i do too. I was tired of looking at the E34 and being bored with it, so about 4 years ago the slow build began. Im still a uni student so i havent bagged any riches yet, hence the time its taken to get this far. I started out with no real direction, but i began to acquire alot of M5/iS body parts, and before i knew it, my car began to look like an M5. About 2 years ago i came across the stance scene, and this made me change the way i modified the E34. I lowered the car on Bilsteins/Vogtlands, but this didnt give me the look i wanted, i ended up lowering the rear some more. The front still needs some more low, but il get around to that once ive tidied up the other aspects of the car. The interior has been swapped with a 540i.
It looked something like this at the start.

I thought it was cool to have these taillights, i was wrong.

I went out and ordered an M5 license plate surround, this to date is still one of my favourite purchases

Then i started to put together an M5 bodykit with a sports front bumper. In Australia these are found on all 535iS.

I painted my kidneys black aswell.

These where my first set of wheels, E34 M5 T-Stars in staggered setup. They had seen better days.

I then found some sideskirts from another 535iS, they where red.

Then i primered the parts of the kit that i had.

I got rid of those terrible taillights and swapped them out with the clear/red/red style, and purchased a set of european plates from my country instead of our usual slim style.

I got really lucky a few weeks later and managed to acquire this m5 rear bumper aswell from the same 535iS, to this date i still havent seen another one for sale. It too had seen better days, but this was all fixed when the car was taken in to have the bodykit painted.

I finished refurbishing one E34 T-Star, it took me so long, i was doing everything the longest way possible, i learnt my mistake, and look back and laugh.

It was early the next year that i had the bodykit painted, this was a real turning point in the build as i felt that the car finally started to come together. Without a nice set of wheels the car still didnt look great, but it was getting somewhere.

I ended up finishing the last two of the T-stars at a local refurbisher, i had enough of doing it all by hand. I got them back and they looked like this.

They went on, and this happened.

Me and a buddy with his 540i.

I decided that i wanted the car to look lower, so i went and attempted a home depot style lip, it turned out really well.

We had a local radio station competition here in Australia, i took some pictures for it with the T-Star covers blue-taced on, to me they still never looked 100%. At this point the car was lowered on Bilsteins with Vogtland springs.

I took the car to a local car show, it looked nice but this is when i knew i needed bigger wheels.

Some more random happy snaps.

Ebay was my friend one night, and after an impulsive decision i bought these 19" BBS LM reps, 19x8.5 and 9.5, yes there replica i know. Lets still be friends.

My local BMW club hosted a European Car Show, called Eurofest. I got a nice picture of my car with my unnessesary Rieger GT front lip for E36 M3's. Il end with this photo.
So where am i now. Well the E34 now has a full 540i interior, and front end with the wide grills, the hood still needs to be painted and installed as it has two nice dents in it. I have acquired some AC Schnitzer 3 piece wheels, in 18x8.5 and 10. These are going to be finished in silver instead of the current black, with full polished lips.

Test fitting the ACS.

Here is what they look like.

Finally to finish on my two favourite pictures of my car. E34 With BBS LM reps, Rieger GT lip and narrow grill. [Credit to anygivenreason for the second photo]

Hope you all enjoyed the progress, once the ACS wheels are refurbished and fitted, i will play around with the suspension in order to get it to sit better and have better stance. But this will all take time. So bare with me.
