  • Jchm's BMW e39 ClubSport

I’ve been thinking about making a thread about my BMW for a while now, and finally I got the time to write and collect photos. I’ve had the car for almost 2 years now, starting with a cosmosblack ’97 model preface e39, with the plan of keeping it simple with wheels, exhaust and a new stereo. But things do change, so did my plan! I got quite a list of parts and upgrades I’ve done on the car, and its still growing!

    What’s done for now:
    M5 front bumper
    M5 rear bumper
    Hamann Carbon Front lip
    Facelift headlights
    Facelift rear lamps
    Supersport Coilovers
19” BBS LeMans reps with gunmetal center
    2x exhaust
    M5 trunk lip
    Repainted in Anthrazit 397
    Roof in Black LY9B
    Black ceiling with a-b-c pillars
    M5 Steering wheel
    M5 gear knob
    M5 Black leather interior
    M Floormats
    Dynavin Navi

And the last twist, E39 ClubSport, with GT3 RS-orange Cs-emblems on the fenders, ///M cs on the trunk, matching interior moldings and dark grey floormats with ClubSport script in the same color.

I got some further plans like new wheels for next season, engine swap from 523i to “something bigger” :P and I may ad some details to the clubsport edition.

You’re probably wondering how this thing looks like, well here’s some pictures from the beginning, inbetween and uptodate:

    Inbetween:

And at last, exterior, with S|W-streamer:

Yes, but I got my hands on a module to connect to the lightmodule, so I easily can program the lights as I want. just waiting for an opportunity to mount it and try! I can program a sequens for the lights when I lock and unlock. really exited to try it!

get the back a little lower, the rake effect is nice and all but with the front tucking and the back having wheel gap it looks a bit off. other than that it makes me want to start work on my e39 again, so a big thumbs up for that

Thanks guys! I want it abit lower in the back as well, but with 3 or 4 in the car, the fenders hit the wheels, so I wont go any lower yet, but with a bigger anti roll bar, it might be better! original part is as thick as my little finger! :P I may try to space out the frontwheels 5mm more, just for the look
