I had to use an air hammer to break off the remaining piece in there, once I got it out I used some light grid sandpaper to smooth it out. Problem solvedOriginally posted by TeckniX View PostAnother good looking E30 - How did you end up fixing your waterpump housing mess?
Thanks man I appreciate itOriginally posted by blowntwofive View Postlooks good and damn i love the wheels reps or not who cares thing looks sick

I've been procrastinating this for a long time and Bimmerfest East 2012 was around the corner. I needed to get this done before making the trip to MD.

Cutting the old out

More cutting

Power washing the diff cover

Not 100% clean but better than it was before

New Revshift poly bushing installed

Original plan to refill the diff with the funnel and tubing didn't work out, so a better solution was found.

And done!

Picked up some fogs off the forums, I was tired of seeing the emptiness on the bumper lol.

Lovin' the work you're putting into this. In the pic above, Is that like a bottom motor mount or something?
Also, you're not the only one that has to deal with the Trollin' water pump. I had to cut mine out with a grinder in my old e36 and beat it out with a hammer. The two top & bottom holes for the 10(or 13) mm bolts never work, lol.sigpic

Yea I've heard stories of people having the issues with the waterpump removal and you're right, those 2 threaded holes are useless lol.
