Ive been searching this site for ages now and finally bought a car worth to make a thread for, ive had 2 previous cars, which were lowered but nothing stance worthy, untill i picked up this, its a 99 EK civic, which has had a b16A2 VTEC engine and gearbox conversion. I picked the car up just under a month ago, and it was purchased with:
Tanabe sustex PRO coilovers all round
Red type R carpet
Type R front grill
Cheap 15' wheels
Mugen front lip
Yoshimura catback exhaust
red lower control arms (rear)
since buying the car i have cleaned up some wiring in the engine bay, repainted the wheels in a gloss black as the white on them was cracked and just in crap condition. Bought some typical stickers and cleaned up the interior.
my future plans are to install my sound system from my previous car
wind the coils down a fair bit they are only a quarter wound down so far,
hopefully pick up some BBS wheels, i was thinking 15's with some smaller stretched tyres. Then really just some smaller cosmetic things like slim weatheshields, shift knob, longer wheel nuts.
This is a budget build so dont expect anything expensive and over the top, but ill try live up to the stanceworks standards.
how the car was purchased
the coils
some photos
Comments and criticism welcome
Cheers, Brad.
