  • Swedish Stance BUILD thread

So I have a 1999 silver Saab 9-3. I know it's not a "cool" car, but it has all the options I need + a hatch + a turbo. I just **** having the same car as people like an s2k/evo/sti. I'm not planning on stretching huge wheels onto my car. Just making it a subtle, clean, Swedish car. Here's a few pictures of my car and what I've been doing lately. And for my whole wheel/buid thread, you can check it out here: http://www.saablink.net/forum/custom...-9-3/60250.htm

I focused on the engine bay first and now I'm on to cosmetics:

    Wheels I bought to rebuild:

    Shitty condition:

And here are more recent pictures:

    Acquired some parts this Summer:

    As it sits now:

I now plan to get a rear lip, paint the front ITR lip, and maybe cut half a coil all around. Should look something like this:

Thanks guys! I'm surprised no flaming about my ride height yet, haha. Though I am going for the more functional, this sidewall look.

I like what you're doing except for the wheels. Like how you don't want the typical, I think you should look into different wheel set-ups.

^ i think its proven to be a good look and you don't see to many saabs with fitment. but car looks great just fill up those wheel gaps and you'll be golden.

What kind of wheels were you thinking? I'd love to hear more ideas for future setups.

This car is cooler than any STi or Evo I've ever seen. I LOVE it!

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

                      Your blast pipes look stupid.

Looks good, I'd love to see some 17" RS on there. But, I'm surprised I like it as much as I do now.
