Hey everybody,
This car here, has sat for well over 4 years. I've driven by it almost everyday for the past year, admiring it every time I drove by. I finally got the balls to go up to the guys door and ask him if it was for sale or if he would be willing to sell it and well, he was.
Basically, the last time he drove it, it got stuck in reverse. Which to anybody else, especially people who aren't mechanically inclined, is somewhat a huge deal. I decided to pull the trigger and buy it even though I wasn't completely sure what was wrong with the transmission. Like I had thought before picking the car up, it was just a missing clip on the shift linkage.
So this will be my cruiser for a while now. No plans really other than to shorten the bumpers and cut springs maybe with a different shock set-up. Not air here. I'm also not sure what I'm going to do about the paint, but after a good washing I'm starting to appreciate the natural patina more and more.
BTW this is a Michigan car and fxcking solid for how old it is.
