I was bored and my belt buckle had some chipped paint so I thought I would make it look new again. I know this isn't anything car related but I shows how much of a difference the polish makes.

It would be a pain in the ass to do that with the Style 5 spokes, but full polish would be killer. If they look as good as that belt buckle, they'd be head turners for sure.

          Mini Update

Got my Euro plate in the mail! It's a great plate made by europeanplates.com. It looks great, just how I wanted it to look. The only downside was the company is super SLOW at processing your order. I didn't get my plate for a month and a half!

^ I didn't want to get a plate that said "lownslow' or "low life" so I just went with my license plate number.

^I didn't want to fuss with filling in the holes in the bumper so I figured this is a better way to go about it.

I wouldn't be 10 minutes on the road if I were using an american number plate (even with my numbers on it) without being "stopped" by the policemen.

              No europlate would be cleaner.

I have new stainless steel bolts coming in from Sweden. I got tired of cleaning them myself... If you need some Style 5 bolts, I have a LOT for sale!

I'll be ordering coilovers when I receive my last pay check from work! I'm probably going to go with FK Street Lines. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

                  Mini Update

I talked to the guy who is painting my faces and I switched from getting silver faces to a gloss white. It will hopefully look something like the photo below, minus the gold bolts and BBS center cap. Hopefully I can get the bolts I ordered by the end of this week or early next week. Once the wheels are all put together it won't be long till I get some new tread on these wheels.

I also ordered my roof rack today. I know, I know. Don't worry this isn't for looks. I go BMX racing and I'm tired of trying to fit my bike into the back seat without scratching anything. I've heard the rack is aluminum so I've been thinking about sanding it down and polishing it like how I polished my lips. I think it would flow nicely with my car. I could possible paint them white to match the wheels but I think that would be over kill. So let me know what you think I should do!

                    I try!

I got my tracking number for my bolts and I will be receiving them on Monday. Last night I purchased some new goods for my car. I bought Genuine BMW clear corner lights, 74.1mm to 72.6mm hub centric rings and clear front bumper side markers. Also earlier in the week I ordered new BMW adhesive logos for my Style 5 center caps and Style 5 center cap wrench.

I know, not much of an update! I'm still waiting for my paycheck to get delivered to my house so I can buy some coilovers!

                    • Good work young man. I like your dedication to the wheel refinish. That kind of hard work is welcomed here. Get those lights on and post some pics.

                      Keep it up.

                        • My painter sent me a photo of one of the faces. It looks so much better than anything I could of ever done myself, it is totally worth the money. I'm picking these up Saturday so I'll upload some more pictures then!
