  • w124 coupe "project strawberry"

I've been reading forum for some time now, you have some nice cars in here The time has come to show mine. Hopefully I'm low enough
It's been 2 years since I began to build mine coupe. It all began in the summer of 2010, when I bought c124. 300ce-24 with mechanical transmission, full sportline package, completely ruined black leather interior and some extras. It was a wreck

but body had no rust, because originally it came from italy. engine sounded great and still had lots of HP and everything else was...

paid some money, took the car and after fun 10 km engine died oil pump failed

i started a project, having something like that in my mind.

for a long time i did nothing. but then i bought other engine. after some time a donor car that looked better than the one with dead engine

winter came. strawberry slept under snow coat. then sun shined, snow melted, but still no job done on car

so it was time to start.
I disassembled engine, ported head, shaved 1,7mm of it

    took old engine out

decided what color to use, mars red 590

    some lube

    body works

    more body works

found my wheels!! keskint kt-5 et30 (sadly 7j)

when i'm done, it will look like that

    body works

    engine...

    poor quality video

I found some cool stuff. automatically tinting rear view mirror, electrical drivers mirror, sunvizers with lighted mirrors, heated seats wiring, brakes pump from 3.6 amg and front seats from 3.6 amg vagon.

enjoy this eyecandy, coz it's so sweet but doesn't rot your teeth

    last jobs before winter
    fitted bbs stearing wheel.

    leather cleaned

custom made roof. looks better in person...

    new grill and blinkers

    wheels

    fitted 3.69 diff

    lower a bit

    lower some more

    go to car club meet

hope you enjoy I'm not over...

I didnt like it at all at first... For some reason I thought it was all clashing, but the final product looks great. You did a great job and want to see more.

Once you dial in the fitment of those wheels you'll be in business. I can really respect all the work you put into this thing. Pretty sick man.

yes front - e36 coilovers + "sporty" blue springs with 3 or 4 coils cut. rear - same blue cut springs and custom made shocks. But I'm not happy with rear, It's too bouncy.
