I should have coilovers in a couple of weeks so i thought i would put up some curent pics of the Commy.

2008 Holden VE Commodore Omega, standard everything bar spaced out exhaust and springs

Just on the lowest springs u can buy for these things... wasnt impressed!

Oh and I am Australia and am into the stance scene so it's not gonna look like ur average sunken wheels with 20's commodore/g8!!!

Haha the plates come and go I actually like them there, a lot of people do but then a lot h*** it!

Plans are to get BCs and go low as I can and then some 17/18 x 10s and fill those huge arches!

I know the offset on these are horrible but do t worry! It shall poke!

18s minimum, 17s will look stupid.

i dont mind offset plates on some cars, mainly those with no space for the plate and usually a huge front mount, but the ve has such a huge area for the plate, it needs the plate there.

I know ur right I just hang out with the jdm boys too much haha hopefully get a clubsport or g8 front soon as well cause the omega one will never get on the ground!

Open to wheels suggestions too! What do u guys think? Keep in mind I am a full time student lol

I like the omega front; maybe with a subtle lip with a drop it would look great. Good luck trying to stance these chassis on 18's it will definitely be low, depending on your drop it may look great or like your riding on donuts. I'm I have some slight experience

Hey bro there is an oem lip that u can get trying to source a cheap one they look pretty good! Yeah might even go on the same path as u with the bimmer wheels! Nice and wide! I dropped u a pm by the way!

i like the oem body lines, really dont think the g8 needs a front lip IMO. also i never got the PM, looking forward to seein future developments

side mounted plate is certainly trying too hard. but i hope you can do something good in the wheel department.

in terms of suggestions and you being a student i assume you want cheap ideas. really anything nice won;t be cheap unless you go second hand. either way i doubt you'll find anything properly nice and fitted locally. i'd maybe try yahoo auctions or something unusual like that and try and get lucky? otherwise an OEM type wheel done classily like the guy above ^

is your mates subaru converted to RWD? cause i wouldn't pick a WRX as my first choice for 'ELDRFTO'?
