Seat layout.
I am going to completely build the seat from scratch basically to save money and to get the seat to fit just right. Untitled by way2fastx3, on Flickr

Yeah i originally was going to do a slam board to keep my busy but i don't like any easy work on my workbench downstairs so i had a brain storm to make this. Alot of people just cut a shopping cart apart and slam it but i want mine to work and start a new trend.
Also forgot to say... Possibly getting a Donor kart this week for the steering and rear end so i don't have to spend alot of money. HOPEFULLY i can still use my wide wheels BUT if i cant ill make custom hubs for them
I'll get a new picture of my in it with all the new stuff on it. Hoping to be able to steer by the end of this week!

ahhh i had a red kettcar when i was younger, brother and i raced down hills and thats actually what got me loving drifting haha, anyway this thing looks amazing, cant wait to see it done
Man, the strip down of that donor cart was some seriously intensive work! I wouldn't have the patience for all that!
I love the seat! Looks great and I like the simplicity of it.
But in all seriousness. I wouldn't consider it square one. From the pictures it looks like all you need to do is find the same diameter main pipe and the same diameter smaller pipe that intersect the main pipe. Cut a longer piece of main pipe and drill two holes to fit the smaller pipe cut to proper length. Then make your own adjustable threaded "tie rods". And throw the doner cart wheels and hubs on your new setup. (I hope this makes sense reading it) And if you don't have a welder I'm sure a muffler shop would be willing to weld them up for you for a couple of bucks.
Your garage floor looks like a RC drift track. So you should know the power potential of brushless setups and their compactness. An electric slammed shopping cart! That chain looks like the perfect length to be on the side of the cart. IJS
And it doubles as a leaf rake! This is so awesome. those plastic wheels are going to understeer like crazy!
Here is a 50cc motorcycle and side car that I built out of gas pipe and pieces I had laying around. conveniently fit 2 passengers and did 45mph with just me. I rode 2 miles to school everyday on this beast my freshman year!
