    This is the Hyundai...

This is currently a daily driver and has to make a 85 mile one way trip (so 170 miles?) and many other places a few times a week. It has 155k miles on it, and it's still pulling strong. When 200k rolls around I will be rebuilding the engine and turbo'ing it. I won't go any lower than a 3.5" drop from stock because there is constant construction on the 15, 91, 405, and 215 freeways. All of my miles are pretty much highway miles, so my engine should be good till 200k or more.

    Its a 2005 elantra GT

    Mod list:

Engine mods: 4" cone filter, Oil catch can, Exhaust count?

Suspension: KYB Excel G's, Cosmo Coils, tibby rear sway bar

    Wheels/Tires: 17x7 5zigen imperio

Toyo proxes 4's in front and gt radial champiro 328 tires in rear

Exterior: Auto Pom window visors, front and rear tow hooks, exhaust cutout, some sort of integra lip, and stock GT stuff

    This is Just a Hyundai.

Having an assload of rubbing on the passenger side fender. I smashed it into my garage on accident a year ago and its eating into my tire D:

Should I sticker bomb it or wait for a new fender?

Wait for a new fender. I think it looks not good if you put lots of stickers on the fender. What about face off your ride? Hyundai coupe's (Tuscani in Korea) face fit on your generation of Elantra if you do some modification. It will be fun.. it will be.....

Haha, I work in the service department at a Hyundai dealer and I've always been curious to see what one of these would turn out like. Good luck with the build, and make sure you change your timing belt every 60k if you wanna keep this thing!

My current timing belt is good. Only been through two of them in almost 160k miles. I've been trying to keep this thing as reliable as possible. I did oil catch can, regular oil changes every 5k miles, and am going to thermal wrap my shit in the engine bay.

Also took out about 30lbs of crap in the engine bay.

My wheels were $150 with tires, but I had to replace two tires because they were mismatched. Can't really put a low offset wheel on these cars without massive amounts of rubbing. I have to get my front fenders rolled.

I'm going to get the car repainted and am probably going to get the R34 kit. instead of the tuscani bumper

Those are on an XD1, but I guess you can get the idea.

Interested to see where this goes.

OP, you said you have rubbing issues etc and it's hard to go low offset on these cars but I beg to differ. I know the Kia Spectra isn't the 'exact' same as the Elantra, but I'm running 17x8 et 15 and 17x9 et 19 right now.

BTW, I'm on Megan Racing coils for an 03-08 Tiburon, direct bolt on, they also work for the Elantra.

                          The Kia has been parted.

                            5zigen Imperio S08's

The spectra, elantra, and tiburon all have a similar suspension setup, I call it the Korean triangle hahaha. Right now I am on spectra coil sleeves and elantra KYB shocks. My tires are pretty beefy so they get chopped up by my fender. I am saving for the megan coils and once i get my new fender I am going to get them rolled.
Also I cannot change camber without camber bolts or coilovers.

These cars are one of the hottest tuner cars in korea hahahaha. There is a lot of aftermarket support, just only in korea.

I can't really stance this thing like crazy since I put about 23k miles on it each year

I really want to **** these cars, but the pics in this thread are keeping me from doing so.

                              Do this one justice.
