I'd like the wheels better silver. Also it NEEDS to come down in the front. Otherwise I like this, should look good with that boot lip.

Not bad, although the front does need to come down more.

Silver wheels, lower in the front, and some spacers would look amazing.

had some semi pro photos taken the other day - mate wanted to build his portfolio a bit so yay free shots for me

really needs spacers. working on it though, after i finish getting this lip to fit.

nice, not sure what part of the shots are the 'pro' parts but practise makes perfect!

I am from Aus originally and this is the biggest reminder of modding cars back home. they dont even have that model lancer here, or if they do, its very rare. never seen one here.

i think the wheels would look amazing in black. just use plastidip spray and when your over it, you can just peel the black off and go back to white!

            Cheers

duckbill arrived. fitment is actually really really good. theres about 3cm from the boot edge, but you really cant see it. so im gonna leave it, fix the little shipping damage, paint it matte black and sikaflex the bitch on

              inb4 dodgy tape on boot.

so after some crazy personal stuff over the last few months ive finally gotten back into loving the ch.

firstly, the rear tyre blew out the sidewall at approx 90,tail slid out into oncoming traffic and was very lucky to not hit anything. new undies were needed that day. so currently rolling around like this until next week or so when i get the tyre replaced. almost tucking 15s haha

so today it was cool and i decided to give it its first wash and wax since november

                dat reflection

exhaust is going on on wednesday. just an axleback after i took off the rear muffler and liked the sound so i decided to save my money vs going a full catback for the time bing since still stock engine.

so its been forever since i updated this thread.

recently some bad things happened. i hit a hyoooge pot hole and one of the 3 spokes cracked. fuck. so i rocked the stockie look for a while.

after a while and getting quotes to fix the wheel of >300 bucks each (lol no thanks jeff), i gave up, and so the 3 spokes are now getting replaced by these

AVS model 6's. picked em up for an absolute STEAL in the perfect offsets to be dead on flush. specs are 17x7+30 and 17x8+30. now in the process of swapping the tyres from the 3 spokes to the 6's, which should run a semi meaty tyre up front, and a medium stretch on the rear (205/40/17)
                  some thing like this.

                  so yeah. stay tuned.

Get that blingy grille outta here.
Nice, glad you haven't gone the "Evo" route, new wheels should be cool.

test fit on fronts (with waaay too tall tyres. will b running same width (215) but lower profile)
cant fit the rears yet. smaller tyres are a necessity.

rears: couldnt really lower it off the jack completely. need to roll the guards. but tbh, im surprised because the 215 tyres clear (well, they will once the guards are rolled). so i think im gonna run 215s (with a lower profile. none of this 215/45 hahaha) all round once these 205's im gonna chuck on off the 3 spokes die. dat meaty fitment
                        pics:

once all tyre sizes are sorted and guards rolled etc, should (hopefully) sit almost like this. but im not sure ive got low enough effset. but should be close.

The other wheels were too polarizing. Some ***** them, while others loved them. These wheels are a bit more pleasing to the eye to me.

Glad to see you are still around and cannot wait to see more

guards rolled. can finally test fit the rears. i am very pleased.

this is still on too tall tyres. and when settled the rear fender should be sitting level with the lip of the rim. pics:

may be fitting a tiny 5mm spacer to space em out juuuust a touch.

                            then again... #creditcardfitment
