    Alright fellas, little update.

    [IMG]https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-qyFp3PNsMfs/T-dFdRpwRRI/AAAAAAAAB2Q/3WxBL2WNnZs/s711/12+-+1[/IMG

Everything was going good with the wonder wagon. Sold my DD Suzuki and caught up with the regular maintenence stuff she needed to be reliable, but I suppose it wasn't quite enough.

The alternator crapped out on me, so that sucked. At least my coilovers came in the very next day.

Me and my friend installed them tonight, and I'll take some pictures in the morning. I must say though, she looks good.

Damn thats such a clean cressida.

Ditch the chrome around the wheels and below the doors and your golden.

Look into shaving that huge front and rear bumper off like they do on 240z's.

The cressida looks like a big ke70 wagon.
Yay, internet people find me sexy! I'll probably remove the chrome if/when I roll the fenders.

Thanks! I think they contrast the brown quite nicely.

Little bit of progress: ordered some Camaro shocks and shorter springs for the rear, with some T3 goodness for the front.

The coilovers should be showing up on Wednesday, but I went ahead and got started on the rear last night. The shocks were relatively straightforward; the only hitch was pulling the lower bushings out of the new shocks and pressing in the oem ones so they'd fit.

The springs were another issue though; I measured them at the bottom, but they open up at the top, so the springs I bought wouldn't fit at the top end. So tomorrow I'm gonna try to send them back and get new ones made; if I can't, I'll just take these to a spring shop to open up the top of them so they'll fit.

In the meantime, I cut a coil off the rear springs to level the thing out.

I'm gonna install my coilovers sometime this week, and install my lower springs in the rear to make this thing truly low.

    Cressida Wagon in San Diego

So, about a month ago, I bought this Cressida wagon from a friend of mine.

Immediately after, I bought these Supra wheels for 100 bucks on Craigslist

They were in pretty bad shape, so I just went ahead and got them powdercoated.

And yesterday at work, I put them on. They're 14s, so for the moment I'm using the 195/70s that were on my stock wheels, because free tires. When these go bald, I'll probably switch to a 205/50 or so.

And here they are on the car!

Next on the agenda is some low. I've ordered lowering springs and Camaro Tokicos for the back, and for the front, I'm getting T3 coilovers with camber plates and roll center adjusters.

My long term plans definitely include a W58 5-speed swap probably around tax refund time next year, and perhaps a Lexus 1UZ swap, California smog laws permitting.
