Nope I would love to but I drove around the block and scrapped oil pan, trans, and flex pipe all the time.

I want to raise the engine so I can daily that low!

Thats a damn good idea. Not only would you gain ground clearance but it would help to correct the angle of the axles from being so low. Has anyone ever done it before?

I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

I would like to! Especially since I need new axles from being low as it is.

I remember reading that on cb7tuner but I thought he may have meant with the f22. Gonna be snapping axles with the f20b all the time buddy! Good ol' torque monster.

                • Looks like good work to me, rock some extended tops o the coils if you can. I used to rock extended tops with 450lb springs all round.

Makes me kinda miss my raft lol.

As far as the raised engine not clearing the hood... Who even runs hoods now???

I'm sure there will be much disapproval on CB7T since it will be "too low" and all the know nothing know it alls will be quick to jump on Mike's dick to say how it's crazy dangerous and you're going to crash and die and ruin the whole cb7 scene.

I love it.... Keep up the good work.

I have 1" extended in the front and 3" in the rear.

I have 448lbs stance springs in the front and my old front drop zone springs in the rear no idea on spring rate.

I totally agree with you on the cb7tuner thing, that is why I haven't posted these pic's on there.

But thank you man! Means a good bit coming from you cause your cb was dumped!

                    • Dude, the car looks awesome. I love the new height and the general unkempt appearance. Your pics look great too!

Please. Please daily at this height. You have to now. Raising your car is pretty much blasphemy.

Thank you man, I've only sprayed little spots here and there to keep the rust away but I like the faded primer in spots, It's kinda like a patina!

I had to raise it a tad, for now cause the exhaust was on the ground and ucas were laying on the frame.

Also the pics were just done with a point and shoot fujifilm camera and I did a small amount of editing in p/s. So thanks for liking them!

                        • Absolutely love the car man... I wish my works were smaller so I could get lower... I either need to sell em, trade em, or buy a kit... Which I really don't wanna do. If I had 15s on mine I wouldn't be able to keep my exhaust attached cause I'd run it as low as possible lol

Side not I'm curious how you made your top hats... I've been planning on doing it, I would just like to discuss it with someone that's already done it before I do...

I used some 1/8" thick piping that is the same diameter as the top hat/base of the top hat and you would cut it at the bottom and weld in the extension. I went 1" in the front and 3" in the rear.

They're really easy to do if you have a sawzall, grinder, and welder.

You could try to do what Cory did but I'm not sure if it will work with our struts, I think the design is different.
