  • 2012 Sonic Turbo on Coilovers

Hello Im new here but havent seen any Sonics here so heres something different..
No one really has coilovers on these yet this is the first set Actually made for a Sonic
    They are Pedders

Now I know I may not be low enough for here but the rear suspension design makes it hard to get real low..no irs

Havent found any wheels 5x105 that i like so I plasti dipped the factory wheels

Also this is the fastest 1.4 turbo known.. went 14.71@91 with exhaust, tune, ported intake

Heres a link to some more pics. Since these ive lowered the back 1/2"

I like it. This should look mean with a nice set of wheels.

Maybe opt out for some 5x105 adapters?

            $1500-2000 for STI Wheels? yeahhh...

i'd get some adapters to 5x114.3 or 5x120 and then just forget your car ever had 5x105... my friend has a chevy Cruze and I was dumbfounded when I heard 5x105. you MIGHT be able to run wooble nuts/bolts to volvo wheels 5x108, but we don't have a very good selection so that might not be the best decision.

            Keep up the good work!

This could get interesting. I like the Sonic and Cruze, but I had no idea they had such a ghey bolt pattern.

just get some custom wheels like, CCW or Ratiform. They can drill any PCD. But I love the car and how it looks now.

Hey thats cool you have any pics of your car with the wheels on? I have the only coilovers Pedders makes for Sonics... My Trifecta tune is on 22psi.. stock boost is 16psi. It handles really good with the coilovers I recently went to a track day at Nelson Ledges.

Add shims for the rear, easy camber.

They don't even make many aftermarket wheels in this bolt pattern, I would highly doubt there are already Camber shims available for such a new car.
